NATCA Facility Representative at Camarillo Tower
Hi, I'm serving as president of the National Air Traffic Controllers Association, Camarillo Tower Local, until December, 2006. If you're a controller looking to work someplace new, or you're looking to get hired on to the FAA, I hope this site will help you consider Camarillo. We need you!!! And, if you are reporting to CMA for work, look how easy it will be to know everybody's name before you get here! We have good folks working here, at Camarillo Air Traffic Control Tower, (CMA) providing air traffic service to the public. We are all employees of the U.S. Federal Government, but not all employees working at Air Traffic Control positions here are members of this labor union (a so-called "open shop", allowing each employee to choose union membership). As this is being written on March. 2006, ten of ten employees are members. Of course, not all employees here are at CMA are air traffic employees. Somebody has to fix the equipment and take care of us, and for that, I thank the FAA technician members of PASS. And, of course, we thank the folks who clean up the messes we make! Don't hesitate to call or write with questions. Tony Williams
